More Meyer

I have found these Meyer names where one is called a divine and the other some type of publisher by the US controlled media. Heinrich August Wilhelm Meyer was born January 10, 1800 and died June 21, 1873 and Johann Heinrich Meyer was born March 2, 1812 and died November 4, 1863. My instincts tell me that one of these two men if not both are related to my Heinrich Meyer, father of Friederich "Fritz" Meyer born February 21, 1833. The problem is that media with the United States can't be trusted. There are too many lies. By: Charlane Meyer, all rights reserved.

I assume by media you mean online trees, the media (news outlets) can never be trusted where ever they are.

The only thing that should be trusted are original records such as census, wills, deeds, etc. If you are lucky enough family bibles, and similar family records they are also acceptable. (definitely better that information in an undocumented unresearched online tree.) If there is a record found on Find a Grave, or similar website, the only information you should accept is that carved in to the tombstone in the picture.

All of the online trees and much of the data found on Find a Grave and similar sites is dependent on the integrity and research abilities of the person who posted the information.

You are lucky that your people were not connected to a family in another area that is completely unrelated to your person. Today I found a person with documented parents was attached to some one in Maryland with no connection to my family. As best as I can determine the person never was in Maryland

Do your own research don't trust the information in online trees.
