[ML] Reinke family from Güstrow

Hello List -

I just found some information about my family that indicates that they came
from Güstrow in the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania state in northern
Germany. I don't have a lot of information to go off of at the moment.
Here is what I have:

Henry Rankie (my 3rd great grandfather) was born in 1833 in Germany. I
believe the name changed from Reinke to Rankie over time.

Christopher Reinke was born in 1816. I believe he was the brother of Henry
but I'm not positive of that.

Unfortunately I do not know the parents names for either of them or when
they came over to the United States. I am hoping someone has information
on the Reinke family or can point me in the direction of some good sources
for Güstrow.

Hi Andy,
first try to find out the immigration year in his naturalization. So you can search in Hamburger Passengerlist - here is noticed his
last residence. You wrote

thats wrong both states? Mecklenburg or Pomerania - not both states. And this you see in the passengerlist.
