Icant read German but I could make out from your reply that you may have
access to Prussian military records. I would like to know more about a book or
list of persons who served in the German army in the 1800s. Thank you for any
help you can possibly provide.I am researching my grandfather Herman Edward

my ancestor was in prussian army untill 1812. his regiment was based at
Burg (near Magdeburg). there are prussian military records of his
regiment. history of other prussian regiments, I don't know. please send
