Searching for Gottlieb MICHEL married in 1828 to Elizabeth FENIGER.
Second marriage for Gottlieb. No dates for him at all. We know that
Elizabeth came from Zuppendorf (Suppendorf?). She was born 1805.
Known children to this couple are:
Johanna "Caroline" b 1829 married to Oswald HAMPEL
Carl "Gustav" b 1834 married to Rosine "Caroline" FRITSCH
Adam "Carl" b ?married to Matilda BOLDT (in Canada)
Robert b ? ?
In the death records for Gustav it reads, born in Zuppendorf and Rosine
Caroline it states, born in Niederfiedrichswaldau,district of Guhrau.
The family came to Canada in 1867 except for Gottlieb. Rumour has it
that a family member was an officer in the Prussian Army.
I have copies of Confirmation Certificates with a red seal on them of a
church and it reads:
"Guhrau, Kirchen
Siegel 1796"
Can someone direct me to find any information on Gottlieb? Much
