Hi everyone,

I am looking for Michael Zacharias born abt 1820 in Germany.

He was in Grafton Twp, Lorain Co., Ohio by the 1850 census. He married Mary Aldinger in the USA. I would think Ohio.

They had 4 children together.

George born abt. 1842 in Ohio

Mary born abt 1846 in Ohio

Regina abt 1848 in Ohio

Caroline 11 Jun 1854 in Ohio

I don't have any more information on him.

Any help would be great.

You need a given place name over here. The name Aldinger is almost only given in
southern parts of Germany in the region of Freiburg, Karlsruhe, Stuttgart, with
a centre in Fellbach. Zacharias is similar in spread over the whole country.
There are given of both hundreds of families, in total more of Aldinger than of
Zacharias, but almost no chance without a place of birth or similar. HPA

Looks like there were two families, one PA starting 1820 and Kansas
by 1880

            There was also a Michael Z. in the 1820 census in PA
