Hi!
What part of South Dakota are your relatives from? Mine moved to the
Kimball, SD area in early 1800's from Clayton Co., IA. By this time they
had changed the spelling to Meier. Guess the census taker mis spelled it
in 1890 and my great grandpa thought he had to spell it that way.
I would appreciate any help you might be able to give me.
