MERRY CHRISTMAS

Hello from Lincoln Nebraska where the weather feels like Christmas. I
want to wish all if you Happy Holiday season and best wishes for a New
Year.

Well for the most part we have stayed healthy this year except for the
usual aches and pains..

I am still interested in Family History but have backed away from
rigorous searching, I am now more of a sit, wait and copier which is
dangerous I know with as much misinformation floating around. With this
in mind, thanks for your help in the past and I would still like to hear
from you. If for no other reason to see if this is still a good E-mail
address.

For any of you tracking my line, my Brother David Herbert Marhenke passed
away DEC 7, 2013 at Belleville Kansas. That leaves just the two of us,
brother Carl and myself. I will be 83 in January.

Even though I am not as active at researching as I once was I still like
to share if you care to.

Seit 1. Januar 1900 kann die Beglaubigung der Handzeichen (XXX) solcher Personen,
welche schreibensunkundig sind, nicht mehr durch einen oder mehrere Zeugen erfolgen,
sondern die Beglaubigung des Handzeichens muss gerichtlich oder notariell sein

Since January 1st, 1900 the acknowledging of a cross (XXX) of such individuals who
are unable to write, can no longer be approved by one or more witnesses, but that has to be done
by a judicial court or notary.
