My step grandfather was a TOEWS. His name was Harvey TOEWS. My Grandfather is
now deceased. But, his son Harvey Randall TOEWS is living in Maine. I'm sorry
I personally do not have any answers to your questions. But, I do remember my
Grandfather proudly showing me a copy of a TOEWS Family History Book. Some
other member of his family carefully put this book together.
I have forwarded your messages to my Uncle and I will e-mail him myself and
ask him if there's any information that may help you. I know Grandfather's
family came from Canada and before that I'm not sure. I looked at this book
briefly many years ago and didn't take in much of the text that was written and just
focused my attention to pictures of family members.
