The words "Salzgitter area" caught my attention and as I have a few images from around that area I have had a look but don't have anything from the villages mentioned, just Meyers families living in Ohlendorf and Salzgitter - the nearest 'look-alike' village name being Kniestedt. I am wondering if it's worth looking for an 1872 'court address' film of the nearest large town in the familysearch library. My Ehlers/Flemme (Flamme) family are recorded as being from Gross Mahner and Flachstockheim villages, but they are to be found listed in the 1852 'court addresses' (=address directory) in the actual town of Salzgitter.
