I'm researching the name Mehlhop.
GG Grandfather was named:
Heinrich Mehlhop,
also known as:
Johann Heinrich Wilhelm Mehlhop
Deidrich Mehlhop
Born approx. between the years 1836-1849 in either: Axstedt, Hannover or Hoya, Hannover both have been listed by him as birth places.
Could anyone tell me anything about either of these towns?
