Meaning of 'Hintan"

Hi
While searching the US GenWeb Archive pages for Orleans Parish Louisiana for Burgdorf deaths in 1870 I came across the death of a baby named J. Wm. Boestrof, father named Julius Wilhelm Boestrof. In the column titled Type of Grave his is listed 'Hintan". Others may be Vault no.,G, Tomb or Lot no. Does anyone know the meaning of the word 'Hintan'? This grave is in St. Joseph Cemetery in New Orleans and the cemetery is under the jurisdiction of the New Orleans Diocese. The Diocese was unable to help and a call to the New Orleans Hictorical Society was also a failure. My German/American dictionary does not list it and neither does my Webster.

Max

My guess for Hintan is behind.
