Max langer

Dear Mrs Elise.-

To simplify things, please send me a photocopy of the leaflet . Maybe you cant read the leaflet because of different writing, but we can try.

"THE FAMILY BOOK OF THE PAROCHIE OF GEESTEMUENDE 1689 - 1874" published 2003 does not show the name Langer. So the Langer family might have come from some other part in Germany. Normaly locals here bear the name Lange instead of Langer.

" THE PEOPLE OF LEHE BETWEEN 1827 - 1875" published 2012 does also not show the name L a n g e r.

If you let me know which church your people attendet to in abt 1960, I can eventually tell you which church it is, but a picture of the church might do aswell.
By the way may I ask what religion your people were ?

LEHER CHAUSSEE is the extension from Bremerhaven-Mitte (now center of Bremerhaven) and runs as Buergermeister Smidt Strasse than Lloydstrasse to the Freigebiet located at the root of the now Hafenstrasse. The city of Bremerhaven runs from the Geeste River to "Freigebiet Lehe" and then continues in now Lehe for a few miles as Hafenstr. Hafenstrasse is the mainstreet at Lehe. The places BREMERHAVEN , LEHE and GEESTEMUENDE are since after WW II called Bremerhaven. The housenumber 92 may eventually be found in the addresbooks of Bremerhaven and/or Lehe.
You can find the city directories at the Stadtarchiv of Bremerhaven.
