This is not a reply to the 'Marriages' thread but a request of Gale
Bosch. Since it is not permissable to send attachments I want to ask
Gale if I can send her some mail with an attachment off line directly
to her address.

  Hi Doreen:
When you stated Hannover, did you mean the city of Hannover or the
Kingdom of Hannover (KOH)? Germans coming to the States whether from
the KOH or the city often used the name Hannover and the specific
name
of a locality was lost. I would say that this is one of the most
common issues which come up on this list. I know, some of the people
on this list are going to say that the KOH no longer existed after
1871, but individuals references to the KOH continued on, especially
in
the States.
If your information in irrefutable as to the city, you are in luck.
The Family History Library (familysearch.org) has a substantial
amount
of information available. The members of this list can also, provide
a
substantial sources for you.
If you can not be certain whether your information refers to the
city
or the KOH, you will probably have to do more work close to home.
Good luck,
Gale

Hannover City

Unless there were further births rafter 1874 I do not believe anything will be found in Church Records except, perhaps marriages.
I need a census, or something similar.
