Hi Don, the 1689 taxation list of Rodewald untere Bauernschaft shows me Bartold Degener maried with Catrina Boestlings. Children: Juergen Daniel 12 years, Anna Grete 7 y, Dorothea 6 y, Maria 2 y. Maybe this is giving you a smal hint.I can remember that on the cemetaries of Husum and/or Linsburg there are graveyards of the Degeners. I have to go through the pictures.
