I have been searching for the marriage of my gg grandparent's, Heinrich
Wilhelm Degener and Rosine Cathrine Margrethe Erich/Ehrich. The date would have
probably been ca. 1840.
Heinrich was born and baptized in Rodewald 30.5.1819/6.6.1819 and Margrethe
was born in Gadesbünden 11.7.1815 and baptized in Heemsen 16/7/1815.
I have been unsuccessful in locating their marriage. They emigrated in May
1841 from the port of Bremen and that is why I had thought they may have been
married in Bremen.
Margrethe had a brother, Christian Erich who married Marie Schomberg. They
had a son, Dietrich Friedrich Erich, born 1.12.1854 in Gadesbünden. There
may have been other children.
