Dear Klaus-
I will definitely write a letter to Mr. Vogel. I am excited thinking that
maybe I will find out some information. I have been at this genealogy on &
off for a few years, and have just started again recently to try and find out
more information. Hopefully, I can get further in my research this time. The
genealogy is a passion of mine, but it does take alot of time to do the
research. I have 2 small girls and work full time so it is difficult to find
enough time to devote to this.
I imagine Mr. Vogel will give me the information on how to pay him. I think
there are services out there that I can use to pay him in his currency.
Thank you for your kind wishes! It rained last night, but as the morning
goes on, it is becoming sunny. It is very warm here - just like springtime.
Although they are predicting very cold weather for tomorrow. This is typical
for weather here in March; one day it is warm, and the next day very cold.
Do you live in Germany? I enjoy reading your German - I studied the German
language many years ago, and do not remember too much, but am going to take a
German language class soon to refresh my memory. My wish is to one day to go
to Germany with my mother and see where our relatives were from.
I live in the suburbs outside of Philadelphia (about 30 minutes drive) and
about 1 1/2 hours from New York City. My family settled in New York City
when they emigrated from Germany, so that is where most of my family is from.
Enjoy your afternoon & evening and I enjoy our correspondence.
Thank you again for your help - it means alot to me to be able to move
forward with my genealogy searches. I will let you know when I hear from Mr.
Vogel.
Judy
