Searching for the birthplace of Maria Josephine Ollendiek who was born Jul 1855 somewhere in the Großherzogtum Oldenburg ( the Grand Duchy of Oldenburg). She arrived in the U.S. on the 29 Aug 1884 and settled in Dyersville Iowa. There she married Henry Anthony Wieferich on 13 Dec 1886. Henry was born in Lohne on 26 Sep 1860 and arrived in the U.S. in 1879. There is a possibility they may have known each other before he immigrated which might place her being born in Lohne also.
