Thank you for your helpful and interesting response. The Railroad employee
work is particularly interesting since many of my Irish and Polish relatives
on my mother's side were railroad employees. They ended up in the Fort
Wayne area in Garrett, Indiana, just north of Fort Wayne post emigration.
My grandmother's Meyer and Nahrwold parents had a saloon in Fort Wayne in
the 1900s and had a lake cottage in the Angola lakes area.
