To the List,
My Marhenke ancestors came from the Marienhagen, Deinsen, Wallensen,
Th�ste, Bantelen etc. area of Germany. Also another branch of Marhenkes
cam from the Harz mountain region such as Bad Lauterberg, Barbis, Berka
and even Gottingen.
Over the many years that I have spent researching I have not been able to
connect with any one in Germany that I could make a connection with my
Marhenke line. This is strange as MARHENKE is not that common of a name
even in Germany and the name is very regional.
I have corresponded with Marhenke families and also copied a lot of
Marhenke information from various sites and sources and have a large Data
Base of Marhenke information.
I would like to share and broaden this information with any one and I
would truly like to make a link with a Marhenke cousin in Germany. 81
