My great grandmother's surname was "TAPPE". She came from Germany sometime
in the mid 1800's. She supposedly came from Braunschweig, Germany but I have
not been able to come up with information on her in Germany. I think she
came from some small village in what was known as the Duchy of Braunschweig
which was east of Hannover. If you have any information on the TAPPE family and
can share it would be appreciated.
