On your map of Hannover, Germany, do you have either of these names?
Uberhamm in the 1600's or Scharmbeck in the 1700's. I'm sure the names have
been changed but would like to have an idea of a larger town that would be

Osterholz-Scharmbeck is a rather large town of about 29000 people located
about 10 miles (16 km) due north of the center of the city of Bremen.
�berhamm or Ueberhamm appears to be a farm village located about 7 miles
(11.2 km) east-northeast of Osterholz-Scharmbeck and about 3 miles (4.8 km)
north of Worpswede.

Scharmbeck is a little village a little bit west of Winsen/Luhe, which lies
between Lueneburg and Hamburg in the northern part of today's Lower Saxony

1901. In that I found:
1)
Scharmbeck in district Osterholz, administrative district Stade, railstation
Osterholz, 2720 inhabitants. I assume today this Scharmbeck beyonds to
Osterholz.
2)
Scharmbeck in district Winsen (on the river Luhe), mailoffice in L�(ue)neburg,
so this Scharmbeck beyonds to L�(ue)neburg??? 408 inhabitants
3)
�(Ue)berhamm also in distict Osterholz, mailoffice in Worpswede, so �(ue)berhamm
today beyonds to Worpswede??? 192 Inhabitants
