It seems that you have subscribed to it, so you get all the mails people are posting to it. Since it is a Geman list, most of the mails are in German (bilingual means here, English is allowed, but not everything will be translated). If you want a rough translation on what is going on, you can copy and paste the German text into one of the internet translation machines, like http://world.altavista.com/.� You can of course post messages in English, and you might get an answer, however, probably not everybody paticipating in the list is fluent in English.

About the list, you might also want to read this again: http://list.genealogy.net/mailman/listinfo/ow-preussen-l�, you have to select view this page in "English" first. And you should have received some welcome letter or so with instructions, also on how to unsubscribe if you want to (I never did that, so I have no experience with that). But I can not see you already posted the question on your family,
you might want to do that first...
