Don, Thanks for your input. I found a group of relatives in Indiana. You never know where you may find another branch of cousins. Most of mine are in Iowa.

Thanks for the information. I was married to a Hilmer. His grandparents were from Germany. I am thinking they died in the early 60's. Probably came from Germany about 1900?? They lived in Iowa. I do have the obits if you see a connection. I would have to look them up.
I have some Luehrings in my line. I believe that they came from the area of Husum or some villages near there. Does any one tie into them? Or that area? One Luhring lady married a Nuehring and one lady married a Block from the Husum area. Amalie Wilhelmine Louise Luehring married Heinrich Ribbe from Linsburg. Their daughter also married a Nuehring.
