Does anyone on the list have verification of this birth and marriage of
Nicolaus and Mette (year unknown but probably around 1863)? Perhaps does
anyone have a copy of Hans Sarnighausen's "Ortsippenbuch Mulsum II im
Kreis Stade Niedersachsen" [1976] which may contain relevant information?

Ortsippenbuch Mulsum II has been filmed by the LDS Family History Library
and is available on loan through their local Family History Centers. I have
the film on indefinite loan and this evening I looked up the record for the
family of Nicolaus L�hmann. The record reads:

oo 26.6.1864: Nicolaus L., Dienstknecht, (aus 3930), * 24.
3.1842, und
Mette H�ft, (aus 3445), *Gr.A. 5.9.1844, + Aspe 4.3.1870,
(eaa).
Kdr.: 1) Johann Peter, * Gr.A. 2.12.1864, 2) Peter, *
Gr.A. 22.2.1870, * Gr.A. 13.3.1870 (ebb).
This means that on 26 Jun 1864 Nicolaus L�hmann (from Family # 3930 in the
Mulsum II Ortssippenbuch), born on 24 Mar 1842, married Mette H�ft (from
Family # 3445), born in Gross Aspe on 5 Sep 1844 and died in Aspe on 4 Mar
1870. Their children were 1) Johann Peter L�hmann, born in Gross Aspe on 2
Dec 1864 and Peter L�hmann, born in Gross Aspe on 22 Feb 1870 and died in
Gross Aspe on 13 Mar 1870.
I am related to Mette L�hmann nee H�ft and Johann Peter L�hmann on both my
father's and mother's sides of my family. I need to add the information
about Nicolaus L�hmann's ancestors to my database. I will send you all of
