Luecke in Finnland / Re: Some help needed

Dear Tuulikki,

I only know that there is a town called Peckelsheim near Willebadessen.
Do you know the names of the parents of YOUR Franz Joseph Luecke (who emigrated from Germany to Finland) ? The names of his parents should have been mentioned in the marriage document?
There are thousands of people called Luecke ( Lücke, Lucke etc. ).

Another possibility: Were there other persons who came with him to that village in Finland? Where did they come from?

I am sorry but I do not have the possibility to look into the Peckelsheim churchbooks (if there are any). But, with the names of the parents, maybe someone else can help you.

Thank You very much for Your reply. We know so little about him mostly
because he was roman-catholic. From his workarchies we found some
information encl. his year if birth and place Westfalen.

But thank You anyway and I'm trying to continue...

Sorry but I did not mean having some information attached. (Ment to say,
that we got some information from the palces he used to work and in
that information was also his birth year!)
