Lookup pastor WYNEKEN

Mona,
CHI is probably the best place in the whole world for information on
Wyneken.
In addition to Moving Frontiers (which can still be purchased from Concordia
Publishing House), they will have A Century of Grace by W.A. Baepler, Men and
Missions edited by Ludwig Fuerbringer, and Ebenezer, edited by W.H.T. Dau.
This last book (which was written in 1922-I have a copy) has a 13 page
chapter on Wyneken with a photo of him in his old age. They also have
articles on Wyneken written for newspapers, periodicals and journals.
Articles written in German can be translated by CHI for a fee. They most
likely have a genealogy for Pastor Wyneken. I would go there (as I have in
the past) and ask for assistance. It is the largest Lutheran archive in the
USA.

I will be gone for two weeks, but I will be willing to give you some more
help if you wish when I return.
