I am looking for any information on my great grandmother Susanna Sawitzka or Zywicka or Zywicki.
On my great grandparents marriage license in 1888 it has her maiden name has Sawitzka and on my grandmother birth certificate in 1904 it has Susanna Zywicki.
This is all I know about her is that she was born about 1869, also she may have had a twin sister who died while working on the Lusitania when it sank in 1915. Her father's name was Albert. Susanna married Joseph Bolda 1888 in Detroit, Michigan, they live in Hamtramck and Detroit area. Witnesses at there marriage was an Anton Zywicki and Julius Olorsn, (not sure of that spelling). Susanna and Joseph had 11 children 9 living to adulthood. There first born son John born 1889 died in 1913. Susanna herself died August 4, 1918.
I believe she came either Germany or Poland or at the time West Prussia. I don't know when or port she came into and again I don't know if she came by herself or family.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
