Hi...
I am looking for My great grandfather Fredrick King who arrived from Germany
in 1865 and is first seen in the census of 1870 in Philadelphia. He is
married to Louise Kruiger who was born in Switzerland and possibly came over
on the same ship. Their first child was born in 1865 so they were probably
married when they came over. They moved to New York where their last child
was born (Ernest). Louise shows up in the 1900 census of Bridgeport CT
living in the same building as Ernest and his family as a widow. Ernest is
my grandfather. He worked for the railroad at some point.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
