Looking for information in Germany for Hern. Hinrich Hinners and Family

Hello Everyone,

I apolgize for not writing in German but my langauge skills are quite limited.? I am trying to find out information on my Great-Great_Greatgrandfather and his family in germany.? I know that Herin Hinrich Hinners age 45?and his wife Gesina Catherina Muller age?48?came to the United States aboard the German Ship President Smidt on Nov. 25, 1850 bound for Cincinnati, Ohio.? Thay came with the following children Anna Catherina age 18, Johann Deitrich age 11, Catherina Margarete age 8, and Gesina Margarete age 6.? I have a copy of the record of entry for them in the Port of New Orleans.

They also had two other children that we know of who came to the United States in Dec. 10, 1849 and I believe they were Johann Hinrich Hinners born Jan. 21, 1829 and Anna Hinners born about 1834 and I believe they came through New Orleans also but I have not been able to verify that information.

In both cases they left Germany form the port of Bremen.? I also have the information that Johann Deitrich and his father were born in Tholstedt, Oldenberg, Germany while the mother was born in Holzhausen, Oldenberg, Germany.? However, according to my great-aunt, Imogene "Sally" Kelly Johann Deitrich was born in Hartford and was the sixth of 9 children.

If anyone cna help me with any further information on the family in Germany or the United States please contact me at the above e-mail address or the alternative address given below.

Thank you in advance.
