Peter, I am the 4x great grand daughter of Edward Joseph Greiwe we think he came to the U.S. in about 1850 or so. IT has been very hard to ind him in any ships passinger lists. I have no idea what town he would have come from. All of the men in our family named at least one of their boys Edward so we have at least 5 generations here of Edwards. If you can help me ind them I would appericate it. I do know that they were Catholic. I'm sure the remaining family members that stayed behind were also Catholic.
   
  I appericated yur phone number but it is very expensive to call from here and my Germen really sucks. Email is a good way for me to communicate with you.
