I am looking for family information on the surname Frickey (Fricke).
The information I have is:
Father - Henry (Heinrich) Frickey (Fricke) born about 1815 in or around Hannover
Mother - Sophia the maiden name is unknown
The marriage date is unknown.
They emigrated to the United States between 1853-1854.
Before emigrating they had two children:
Henry Frickey born about 1849
Charles Carl Frickey born 2 September 1852
They emigrated to Illinois in the United States and had at least six more children.

that's quite difficult because the name FRICKE is not rare. Today the telephone register of Germany contents more than 10.000 FRICKE, 200 of them in the city of Hannover.
The name FRICKE is deriving from the first name FRIEDRICH, in former times very common in Germany.
I fear there is no chance without more infotmations.
