Looking for Ernst Heinrich BOSTEL birthplace

Sandy,

Apparently, all the church records prior to 1945 were not destroyed! According to the person responsible for this family register
(Uwe Sarpe), the information came directly from church books which begin in 1825 and end in 1875. Older data was from
Barenscheer or were taken from the marriage records in the state archives of Hannover. For South Winsen info also came from
a copy of the baptismal register dating back to 1680. Additionally, he notes that various private research, tax lists and farm lists
were used in making the database/family register.

I would encourage you to contact Uwe at AuU.Sarpe@t-online.de to thank him first for all his work in compiling the family register
of Celle West and then to ask where you can access the records you desire. However, to be honest, the research fees will likely
be expensive - perhaps Uwe is even willing to undertake such research - I don't know? Yet, by clicking on each individual in the
family register you will be able to take the family back as far as he has been able to research it.

Uwe does note that the database is not complete and further expansion is planned. I am not sure if Uwe speaks English so you
might wish to send an English and German version of your letter/note to him.

Good luck,
