Several years ago I sent in a request for information about Christian
Conrad, Catharina Salewsky, Johann Maguhn and/or Charlotte Spinn. Some of
you tried to help me with information, but unfortunately this information is
(now) lost to me. Currently I am again trying to investigate my family with
the following information:
Düsseldorf, am 31. Januar 1888 ist der Fabriksarbeiter Carl Conrad, vierzig
Jahre, Evangelischer Religion, .., geboren zu Siewen, Eheman der Maria
Maguhn .., Sohn des zu Siewen verlebten Zimmermanns Christian Conrad und der
zu Simianen wohnenden .. Catharina Salewsky, Morgens zehn Uhr verstorben.
(Sterbe-Urkunde nr. 261; Düsseldorf 1-2-1888)
Düsseldorf, am 27. Januar 1891 ist der gewerblose Maria Conrad, geboren
Maguhn, ein und vierzig Jahre, Evangelischer Religion,
, Geboren zu Siewen,
, Tochter des zu gerresheim wohnenden Johann Maguhn und der zu Siewen
verlebten Charlotte Maguhn geboren Spinn, Morgens eilf Uhr verstorben.

4 August 1875 Johann Maguhn was 60 years old according to the birth
certificate of my Grandfather Karl Emil Konradt, born in Düsseldorf as son
of (then) Karl Konradt and Maria Maguhn.
As you might know Siewen is the current Zywy and Simianen the current
Ziemiany in Poland, close to the Russian border.
Can anybody help me with more information about any of these persons or with
advice on how to proceed if I want to find out more?
Additional info: Carl and Maria had at least five more children: Gustav,
Paul, Karl, Max and Maria (birthdates and places unknown).
