I have been trying over 10 years to find more information about my Great Great Grandfather Traugott and his brother Gottfried. Please is anyone has tips on where I can find more information I am grateful.

Dörnhau is situated in the Waldenburg region.
On kartenmeister.com you can find information about which place was in charge of religious and civil registers:
Catholic: Ober Wüstegiersdorf
Lutheran: Wüstegiersdorf
Civil reg.: Nieder Wüstegiersdorf
At bottom of the page you can look who searchs in Dörnhau too and you can leave your mail address and your family names you are looking for.
At the page http://www.christoph-www.de/ you find detailed information which books have survived and in which archive they are stored.
If they are already digitized by polish archives you may find the link there.

Hej Wayne,

Dörnhau, now Kolce, was located in Waldenburg district in German/Prussian
times. Generally speaking, Waldenburg district's Evangelical churchbooks
are still located at the Evangelical church in Waldenburg/Wałbrzych, while
its civil records (starting from October 1874) are located at the state
archive in Wrocław.
There are no digital records available. Contact Andreas Richter, he will
perform the search for a fee.
