Lodging in Germany

My husband and I will be leaving for Germany in a few weeks. Was wondering if others who have made the trip can offer suggestions on lodging.
We will start in Munich, picking up our car, and then head north. We plan a stop at the German Emigration Center in Bremerhaven. Any suggestions for lodging near this museum? We will be stopping in the Oberbauerschaft area and there is nothing to note around it but, that is where my husbands family came from. The town that we hope to find lodging would be Lubbecke. If not lodging in Lubbecke then perhaps someone knows of lodging in Bielefeld. That appears to be a larger town than Lubbecke. We also plan on stopping in Rothenburg. It appears on the map as rather a small town but, has some museums listed that I would like to visit. Any ideas on lodging would be appreciated.

Dianne, go to Accorhotels.com and you will find a variety of their hotels for Germany and all over the world. They have a printed guide. They will make reservations for you for your next hotel/motel. I stayed at their Etap Hotels which is their cheaper line and at Ibis. They speak English. The desks might be closed in the afternoon so you need to ask about that.
