I am trying to find out some information on my great grand father----Johan
(Johann) Lodes. He was born in Bavaria on 10-19-1847. He left Bremen Germany
and arrived in the USA on 6-24-1872. His boat was the Deutschland. He was
accompanied by a lady named Margaretha Zeilmann.
He might have a brother named Jonnaces Lodes who left Germany earlier.
I need to know the city he lived in and any information you might have.
