Hallo -
I have a question for the list. I am trying to locate a town/village in
Hannover by the name of Mochle (that is what I can make of the spelling in the
church book) I cannot find it on a map.

There is a town in Poland by that name. I don't see one in Germany in the
index of the Autoatlas I have. What town in Hannover are you currently
researching? I could look around that area and perhaps find something that
looks like Mochle.

Hallo DKnoepfel,
Mochle seems not to exist nor in Hannover nor in Germany, but there are for example MEHLE near Elze, about 30 km south of the city of Hannover, and MELLE about 20 km west of Osnabrück, also in the former kingdom of Hannover.
