Lindemann family found in Freren

Dear List-Liebe Listenemmer-

Many thanks to those of you from the Hannover List who gave me direction in
finding my g-g-grandfather Conrad LINDEMANN.

Recently I received an e-mail from Heinz Wahoff who lives in his house
today. My family is no longer lives in the area.

Conrad left Iowa shortly after the death of his wife Hannah Elizabeth about
1872, returned to Andervenne/Freren, remarried the widow Holtgers, died
about 1880 and is buried in the local cemetary.

According to Marion Wolfert of the LDS Library staff in Salt Lake City the
best place to obtain records for a Catholic family from this area is Bistum
Osnabruck.

I am living in the near of this area and some of my ancestors settled there or
came from villages around Bendingbostel. What do you want to know ?
