. Liebzüchters?

<Liebzüchters>
Hi Fred,
Thode's indicates: Leibzucht (note that it's 'ei' not 'ie') = life
annuity; pension; life estate
Leibzüchter(in) = person on life estate

For the 'ie' spelling, thinking maybe its a compound word, Cassell's
indicates:
lieb = dear; beloved; good.
Zucht = race, breed; discipline; breeding; education, discipline; (good)
manners.
Züchten = cultivate; rear, breed; grow.
Züchter = (plants) nurseryman; (animals) breeder.
Soooooooooo, spelled Liebzüchter it could mean "beloved breeder". ;>)
You decide which is the correct spelling & meaning in the record. I kinda
like the latter (made up) definition, but . . .
Regards,
Curt
