Carolyn, I might be finding out more on Caroline Wilhelmine Christiane
Leverentz in the near future.
She married Johann Heinrich Joachim Friedrich Witt probably about 1878. He
was a day laborer in Torgelow. According to Ernst Witt's baptismal record,
his Godparents are Johann Burr, Fritz Peters, Marie Oppermann & Caroline
Kruse all residents of Torgelow.
I believe the Witts moved to Rostock shortly after Ernst was born in 1883.
