ich habe ein Ortsr�tsel: im Kirchenbuch stand der Ort "Lesno". Der Eintrag
erfolgte 1741, es kann sich auch um eine Abk�rzung handeln. Die Ortsangabe
bezieht sich auf einen Paten.
Das Kirchenbuch stammt aus Rasmau (Ramsowo) bei Wartenburg/Allenstein
(Barczewko).
Wei� jemand etwas damit anzufangen? Lesefehler?

I have family from Lesno, Kr. Deutsch Krone, Poland. I would estimate the
distance to be about 150-200 miles west of Rasmau.
Currently, I have copies of the ev.church records for Lesno [Christenings
1852-1900; marriages 1823-1933 and deaths 1862-1915]. I plan to order the
final CD for christenings 1736-1815, 1819-1851 and deaths 1819-1841.
If you think this might be the same location, please provide me with the
details you have. I would be happy to look for an entry at the same time

Der Ort hei�t Leschnau, vorher "Leschno" und geh�rte bis 1871 zur Kirche von
Purden. Es ist ein Forsthaus zur Oberf�rsterei Purden
