I have a new town to research, It is Lenglern, Hannover, Prussia. I am
wondering if any one might be familiar with this area and have some
insight as to where I might look for records. It is my suspect that they
are not on LDS film and the Archives in Hanover are my only hope but it
is possible that some one might be able to help me. Another question:
What are the chances of someone from Lenglern traveling to the Linsburg
Kr, Neustadt to get married in the early 1800's?
I believe Lenglern is near G�ttingen. What makes the search more
difficult is the surname is Meyer!!
What might help is the wife's name is Thielboerger.

Hi Bob,
Lenglern is just west of Bovenden (which is north of Göttingen). It
shows a church on the map. I don't know how long the church was there. You
could write them - there's an email address.

That is quite a name! However, there are 28 Thielboerger names on the
IGI--from Lenglern.
