Lehrer? LEHRER!

Liebe (Lehrer-)-Forscher,

Regina Berkemeyer

Viele dank, Gnter!

I'm looking for Gustav SCHURDEL, who was born in 1840, and attended school in Pr. Eylau from 1858 to 1861.

His father Martin SCHURDEL attended there from 1836 to 1838. This is from a history written by Gustav Schurdel in about 1902. I'm looking for confirmation of this, and for any other information that might be available.

SCHURDEL is a very rare family name, so if you find any other reference to that name, I'd be pleased to know about it.

Thanks so much!

examination was on the 2. and 3. October 1861; he became the 2 nd teacher in DBERN.
His father was Martin Schurdel, he was a teacher in PODWANGEN.

That's what I found.
