Hello List,

The family I am researching is LEHMANN.

These folks are from Jurgensdort/Jurgensdort, Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Germany.

Johann Jochim LEHMANN who married Anna Catharina HARLOFF. No further
information on this couple.

The son of this couple

Johann Carl LEHMANN born 23 July 1784. Day laborer. Married Catharina
Sophia SCHROEDER on 25 May 1804

Son of Johann and Catharina

Carl Friedrich Christoph LEHMANN born 2 January 1844. His birthplace has the
location of Neubrandenburg added to Jurgensdorf. He married Friederike
Johanne Marie SCHROEDER on 30 June 1843 in Jurgensdorf, Stavenhagen,
Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Germany

I have this family followed once they migrated to the US. The information
from Germany is giving me a stumbling block.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think the village you are looking for is Juergensdorf. Lookm at the
homepage of which parish Juerh�gensdorf is part of and if there are more
then one village called Juergensdorf, or may be Juergenstorf.
Are you able to work at Family Search center of the Momons? If you know
the parish you have to look for yopu can ask in the FHS for this film
and look for the datas of you ancestors.
