let's keep it civil and respectful, people. This is a bilingual list and
we are lucky to have it as a resource. Our German colleagues have
patiently put up with my bad German when I have occasionally posted.
They've also been very ready to help when they have relevant info.
If someone's not comfortable with trying to understand the German language
and wants to opt out, that's their prerogative and not reason to chastise
them for being lazy.
I've seen the language question flare up periodically in the several years
I've subscribed, in both directions. If we're not careful, the Germans
will (rightly) start to grumble and talk about kicking us gringos off their
list.
