Is anyone familiar with the place Lahe, by Osnabrueck? It is not the one by
the city of Hannover. My gggrandmother Katharina Schroeder was born there in
1818 and lived in Krakow, Missouri near Washington, Missouri. Thanks,

     I cannot find a town by the name of Lahe near Osnabrück. I have a very
detailed autoatlas and there are a lot of towns, but I don't see one very
close to Osnabrück. Could it be spelled wrong?

Get the software package called.."Encarta" it has an outstanding map section
that you can search and it highlights the city or town. I use it all the time
for Genealogy referencing of towns. Regards Jack Scott
