Seeking information on FRIEDERICH KRENZ and his wife CAROLINE, who were in
their 50's; daughter MINNA 18; daughter MARIE and husband JOHANN DIEDRICH,
newlyweds in their 20's; and daughter CAROLINE and her husband HEINRICH NOLL
(my great grandparents), who were in their late 20's. The Nolls came with 4
young children. They sailed, according to Germans to America, on the ship
HAMMONIA, which left Hamburg and Havre (why is this?) and arrived in New York
on October 29, 1886. They settled in Rochester, New York. KNOLL is the
previous generation. They were from Mecklenburg, Schwerin, probably
CLAUSDORF and the area near VARCHENTIN. Any information on the people,
towns, or ship would be much appreciated. Thanks!
