in Dresden einen Verwandten, Karl Theodor H�pker.

Hallo Listmembers and fellow researchers:
I am newly returned to this list after a two year absence. My name is Warren Haase, from Oregon., USA, and I have been searching for some clues to my HAASE family, as well as the BEHNKE and HINTZ surnames for the last nine years. The family resided in the area of Thorn and Bromberg, I believe, between the years 1860 and 1886 although research in the LDS microfilms of christenings, marriages and deaths for Thorn (Torun), Bromberg (Bydgoszcz), Schulitz (Soleg Kujawski) and Gross Neudorf (Nowa Wies Wielka) have turned up no evidence of any family member. Likewise, a search of the archives in Berlin has revealed no clues to the family in either Thorn or Bromberg, although I have photographs of family members taken in both these cities. My grandfather, Johann Julius Haase, named Thorn as his birthplace as did his older sister Ida Haase Retzke. Some detail on the family is as follows:
Great Grandparents.Johann Haase (born circa 1840) and Julianna Ann Behnke
Their children.
Ida Haase (born 4 July, 1860) Emigrated to the USA and married Carl Retzke.
Maxmillian Haase (born between 1861 and 1879) died at 21 years of age. Family lore has him moving to Hanover and later to Holzminden and Dab Driburg. I possess a photograph of Max taken in Holzminden/Bad Driberg
Anna-Martha Haase (born between 1861 and 1879) Married with seven sons, Husbands name unknown. Husband died during WWI.
Johann Julius Haase ...My grandfather, (born 19 May 1880) Emigrated to USA in 1903 and settled in Chicago, Illinois. I have much detail on this line of the family post 1903 to share with anyone researching the same surname.
Anne Haase (born circa 1886) Married Mr. Hintz. One child Luzi Hintz, (born circa 1910), Luzi was confirmed in Spandau on Easter 1925.
Of the family, only Ida and Johann are known to have left Germany.
I would much appreciate any and all assistance in locating any members of this family or in identifying their town of residence.
