some time ago, but did not see the Knigge entry. Some of the information
came from my records I have shared with others. Hope I can still contact
the person who put it on roots web and see how we are related.

HI -- I just noticed this message regarding KNIGGE. Where did your KNIGGE
family settle in America? I have KNIGGE connections from around the
Berenson (spelling??) area of Hanover. My Catherine Marie Dorothea KNIGGE
was b. 25 May 1809 in Berenson, Hanover. Her father was Johann Wilhelm
KNIGGE b. about 1780. Any possibility of connection here? Nancy
