Familienforschern, die Knie aus dem Raum Oberfischbach - Seelbach in der
Kiste haben.
Er schrieb mir folgendes:
"Hello - My Knie/Knee family came to America from Oberfischbach, Siegen,
Prussia and after some research we can trace back to Johannes Knie b. about
1631 in Seelbach. He was married to Margareta ? and they had 7 children.
We know of three - Johannes Peter b. ca 1660,married Anna Catharina Gudelius
on 18 Nov., 1684; Henrich Knie b. 1666, married three times, and Sophia Knie
b. ca 1670 married Peter Klappert. Have you done any research on the Knie
family? I wonder who the other children were for example. I also see
that a Tillman Knie b. 1743 married Anna Catharina Gudelius so there is
surely a Knie - Gudelius connection. I do not read the German language so
the research is very expensive.
So I'm just wondering if you have anything more on the Knie line in that

Vielleicht kann ihm ein Knie-Spezialist (mu� kein Orthop�de sein) besser
helfen als ich.
